Housing on Ringvägen/Hotellviken bay, Saltsjöbaden

The detailed development plan took 20 years to complete, and zuez arkitekter ab won the parallel contract that JM had advertised. The area comprises 62 housing cooperative apartments.
 
The Ringvägen development in Nacka was nominated for the Urban Architecture Award in Nacka municipality in 2008. The nomination read as follows: “The development, comprising three separate three-storey structures, adds patent contemporary architectonic expression to an area of distinctive qualities. The buildings have rendered facades that are rich in variation and coloured to harmonise with the buildings on the other side of Ringvägen. Their proximity to the Saltsjöbanan railway has influenced the design of balconies and patios. “
